At the recent Monterey Boats Worldwide Dealer Meeting held in Sanibel, Florida, Bayview was recognized for our sales achievement as the Number 2 Dealer throughout Canada for the 2007 model year. Of greater importance, however, was being presented with the award for achieving the Number 4 dealer position worldwide for Customer Satisfaction. This award is a testament to the dedication of our entire team to ensuring that the purchase of a new Monterey from Bayview Yacht Harbour is an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Our goal is to ensure that our customers remained entirely satisfied with their Monterey for many years to come. Thank you to all of our customers for placing their faith in our Team; we take that loyalty very seriously, and we will continue to work very hard to earn your business We changed things up a bit for Bayview Yacht Harbour's annual Cruise Event for 2007. The day started with tubing from the docks at 3:00 PM for the young and young at heart (how are your arms Paul?), continued with a fabulous Chicken BBQ and salads supplied by The Cove Country Inn in Westport, and desserts supplied by our Boater friends (Huge thanks to all who contributed). A special thanks to Rolly, Paul, and JF for the magnificent job they did of manning the BBQs. After dinner we proceeded to the boats and formed up outside the Harbour markers around 8:00 PM for an unbelievable evening and nighttime cruise. Following our Fearless Leader, we headed to the foot of Briton Bay, back up inside Fancy Free, around Tar Island, and on to the northwest side of Long Island. We then proceeded back along the southeast side of Long Island ( aka Colonel By Island), past the mooring buoys, and around Bungalow Island. From there we headed toward Poplar Point, threaded the islands, and headed back to Bayview passing close to the northwest side of Jerry Island. Our convoy attracted a great deal of attention from numerous cottagers, and many of our Boater friends felt that the experience of nighttime boating was truly remarkable. The weather cooperated throughout the event, and the night sky was crystal clear. In fact, if you were looking in the right direction, you may have glimpsed a shooting star or two! Kudos to all those who ventured out on their own boats, and thank you to all who joined us on the Bayview boats as well. A special thanks to all of the Bayview Staff for their help in organizing the event; in particular to Jennifer for all of her hard work. Ron, Michael, and the entire Bayview Team would like to express their appreciation to all who attended, and thank you as well to those of you who brought along friends and family so that they could have a better appreciation of this great pastime that we call "Being a Bayview Boater". We hope that this year's cruise event has has given you a taste of how much fun nighttime boating can be, and we all look forward to having you join us at next year's event. New more stringent provincial drinking water regulations, have determined that the water from all of our taps is non-potable. To help serve our customer's drinking water needs, we are offering, at a low cost, bottled water in our store. We stock 500 ml, 1.5 litre, 5 litre and 18 litre sizes.
